Jamui is a town and a municipality in Jamui district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is the district headquarter of Jamui district. Jamui was formed as a district on 21 February 1991 as a result of its separation from Munger. It is part of Munger Division.The town is situated about 60km South-West of Munger.

नौलखा मंदिर, बेगूसराय (Naulakha Temple) – Begusarai

The Naulakha Temple is located in the Begusarai area of Bishanpur. It was erected in 1953 by the saint Mahavir Das.

This old-aged Temple is decorated with outstanding works of art and carving on its walls. The word "Naulakha" means "Nine Lakhs" in English. This is the excessive cost of construction of the Temple.

It is believed that in the Temple, Mahant Deer Das had worked in the seventeenth century. In the year 1952, Mahath Mahavir Das tried to undertake ventures to restore and improve the Temple. Divinity is decorated with shiny gems and head gears, and equipped with fine clothes.

Many devotees comes in search of approval and appeal to God for their fate and long life here.

जयमंगला गढ़, बेगूसराय (Jaimangala Garh) – Begusarai

Bateshwar Nath Temple - Bhadeshwar Nath Mandir is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located atop a hillock near Kahalgaon in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The temple is around 7 km from Kahalgaon. Jamtara (जामताड़ा) is a city and a notified area in the Jamtara Sadar subdivision of the Jamtara district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is the headquarters of the epynomous district, subdivision and community development block.

It came into existence on 26 April 2001. This small district of Jharkhand state consists of only four blocks. It was created by carving out four blocks from Dumka District.
