There is a beautiful Shivling of Baba Bhole Nath in the Dheemeswar Nath Mahadev temple located in Dheem village, which is mythological and historical as well. Every year on the occasion of Shivratri, a grand fair is also organized in the temple premises and on this occasion, devotees of Shiva from far and wide reach here and offer prayers to Bhole Nath.
There is a belief of such people that no petitioner has yet returned empty handed from the court of Baba Dhimeshwar Nath Mahadev. On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, people also reach here to offer special prayers. Due to the fame of this place being spread far and wide, crowds of devotees come here for worship on other days also.
People of Koshi-Seemanchal region also know Dhimeshwar Dham located in Banmankhi as Mini Baba Dham. The special feature of this Shivling is that this type of Shivling is only in Rameshwaram and is crystal and transparent. According to legend, Hiranyakashipu also worshiped Mahadev at this place. Due to which he got the boon of immortality. It is said that the devotee Prahlad also used to worship Ugraeshwar Mahadev at this place.
Shrawan Mela: Here in Sawan, thousands and thousands of Shiva devotees fill water from Uttar Vahini Manihari Ganga and perform Jalabhishek to Baba Ugraeshwar Mahadev after undertaking a difficult and painful journey of about hundred kilometers.
In the past, this place was in the form of a deserted forest. When a local farmer was driving a spade in his field, it is said that this Shivling was found. In the early days, there was a Shivling in a hut where people used to come to offer prayers. But in the later days, a temple was built here by the elder Shiv Bhakt Baba Pratap Jha of Dhima village with the help of the people, which today remains the main center of faith for the people.
