Odhni Dam (ओढ़नी बांध) is known for its water sports adventures. It is located in the south – east of Banka district in the state of Bihar. Banka Town is the region’s administrative centre and for Boating activities in odhni dam is area’s most recognizable landmark.
A hot summer and a lovely Winter season characterize the climate of this location. Belharni and Barua streams are located in the north-western part of the region’s territory. If you get chance, it is a must visit place. After rainy season you will find lush greenery all around.
The boat departs only when there are atleast 7 members, so keep this in mind. Charges for full ride is 250/- per person and half ride is 100/- per person. I would recommend for a full boat ride. Jet ski is also available for 500/- per person and 300/- per person.

The place is 15 kms from Banka and approx 60kms from Bhagalpur. For Bhagalpur people I would suggest you to take the Amarpur road. Also, ask the local people about the route as google map is not correct always.
If you are by car, then have an expert driver as the road to this place in the end is a one way very narrow road. And along side road is some 15 foot cliff with no railing to guard. So be careful.
