Manpathar is one of the renowned rocks which is close to Kastaharni Ghat in Munger district. Manpathar is popularly known as Sita Charan. चंडी स्थान, मुंगेर (Chandi Asthan / Chandika Sthan Shakti Peeth – Munger

कष्टहरणी घाट, मुंगेर (Kashtaharni Ghat) – Munger

Kashtaharni Ghat is a holy place of Munger district. It is said that once upon a time Lord Ram and Mata Sita bathed at this site while returning to Ajodhya from Mithila, after that this place becomes a holy place. श्री कृष्णा वाटिका, मुंगेर (Shri Krishna Vatika) – Munger

Shri Krishna Vatika is famous for its charming nature. It is situated near the Kashtaharni Ghat. The sight seen of this place attracts many visitors. Mainly local people come here every day to spend their time with their family. It is one of the best relaxing places in this district. मुल्ला मोहम्मद सईद की कब्र, मुंगेर (Mullah Mohammad Sayyid Grave) – Dilawarpur – Munger

This is situated on the top of the bastion at the southwest of the fort. The Mulla was a Persian poet and had come to India from Mazandaran near the Caspian Sea, during the reign of the Emperor Aurangzeb, who employed him as a tutor to his daughter Zebunnisa Begum. He was a poet of repute and enjoyed the favours of Prince Azim-us-shan, Aurangzeb’s grandson. The poet died at Munger in 1704 on his way to Mecca and was buried there. His grave is within the fort. The Mullah died in 1704 A.D. and his tomb existed, till the early years of the 20th Century, when it was demolished and the grave removed. This information is based on the District Gazetteer. But it is seen that Buchanan, who visited Munger hardly hundred year after the Mullah’s death, says nothing of him, nor does Hunter mention him in his Statistical Account of the district.

डीएम के हस्ताक्षर से पिस्टल का फर्जी लाइसेंस जारी

भागलपुर [संजय सिंह]। राज्य में एक ऐसा फर्जी गिरोह सक्रिय है जो लोगों से मोटी रकम लेकर हथियार का फर्जी लाइसेंस बांट रहा है। खगडिय़ा के जिलाधिकारी (डीएम) के हस्ताक्षर से अमल थापा के नाम से वर्ष 2009 में फर्जी लाइसेंस जारी किया गया। हैरत तो इस बात की है कि डीएम के स्तर से ही संपूर्ण भारत का लाइसेंस निर्गत किया गया है, जबकि पूरे देश का लाइसेंस निर्गत करने का अधिकार डीएम को नहीं है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार अमल थापा फर्जी लाइसेंस लेकर झारखंड के एक बड़े ठेकेदार के यहां सुरक्षा गार्ड की नौकरी कर रहा था। अमल थापा ने अपना स्थायी पता खगडिय़ा जिला स्थित मानसी थाना क्षेत्र के धरमचक गांव का दिया है, जबकि धरमचक में इस नाम का कोई व्यक्ति है ही नहीं। मानसी पुलिस ने बताया कि पूर्व में भी कुछ लोगों ने सत्यापन के लिए आवेदन दिए थे, लेकिन मामले फर्जी पाए जाने की वजह से आवेदन रद कर दिए गए। थापा को जो लाइसेंस जारी किया गया है उसमें लाइसेंस संख्या 316/2009 दिया गया है। लाइसेंस में इस बात का भी उल्लेख है कि लाइसेंसी 150 बुलेट रख सकता है, जबकि बुलेट बंदूक में लगती है। पिस्तौल के लाइसेंस में इस बात का उल्ल…
