Trikut Pahar (Trikut Hill) is situated on the way to Dumka at Trikut Basdiha in Mohanpur Block of Deoghar District in Jharkhand state, India. 24 kms west of Deoghar, it is famous for its Hill Temples. It is believed that many sages have attained salvation on the top of these hills, known as TrikutIt is the source of the River Mayurakshi, which is a prime attraction here. Natures open beauty and esoteric religious practices are practiced.

Trikut Pahar is one of the most exciting tourist destination in Deoghar, where you can enjoy Trekking, Ropeway, Wildlife Adventures and a safe natural retreat. It is also a popular picnic spot and a place for Pilgrimage. In dense forest on the uphill lies the famous Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple and the hermitage of Sage Dayananda.

त्रिकूट रोपवे हादसा, 2 की मौत, 48 अन्य फंसे।

झारखंड के देवघर जिले में बाबा बैद्यनाथ मंदिर के पास त्रिकूट पहाड़ियों पर 12 रोपवे केबल कारों की एक-दूसरे से टकराने से कम से कम 2 लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि 48 अन्य अभी भी बीच में फंसे हुए हैं। गोड्डा से बीजेपी सांसद निशिकांत दुबे ने कहा कि अब तक 25 लोगों को बचा लिया गया है. उन्होंने पूरे मामले की जांच की भी मांग की है। भारतीय वायु सेना ने कहा कि दो एमआई-17 हेलीकॉप्टर बचाव अभियान में शामिल हैं। हादसे के कुछ देर बाद ही सिस्टम चलाने वाले ऑपरेटर मौके से फरार हो गए। झारखंड पर्यटन विभाग के अनुसार, त्रिकूट रोपवे, 44 डिग्री के अधिकतम लेंस कोण के साथ भारत का सबसे ऊंचा ऊर्ध्वाधर रोपवे है। 18 ट्रालियां ऊपर फंसी दरअसल, रविवार को रामनवमी की पूजा करने और घूमने के उद्देश्य से यहां सैंकड़ों की संख्या में पर्यटक पहुंचे थे। इस दौरान रोपवे की एक ट्राली नीचे आ रही थी, जो ऊपर की ओर जा रही ट्राली से टकरा गई। जिस समय यह हादसा हुआ करीब दो दर्जन ट्राली ऊपर ही थीं। करीब 18 ट्रालियां ऊपर ही फंसी रह गईं, जिसमें 40 लोग सवार थे। इनमें छोटे बच्चे व महिलाएं भी हैं। 12/04/2022 हादसे में अब तक 3…

देवघर – बैद्यनाथ मंदिर (Deoghar – The Baidyanath Temple)

The temple of Baidyanath faces the east and is a plain tone structure with a pyramidal tower, which rises from a square base to a height of 72 feet from the ground. To the east of the northern verandah of the temple there is a. large vat into which flows the water and milk offered as ablution.

The lingam is of a cylindrical forming about 5 inches in diameter and projects about 4 inches from the centre of a large slab of basalt. It is not possible to ascertain how much of the lingam is buried. The top is broken and has uneven surface and the fracture is attributed lo the Story already mentioned.
