Dargah of Ghuran Sah Pir Baba located near the Kutchery Chowk, Katahalbari, Khanjarpur, SM College, is extremely popular among followers of various religions such as Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus. Every Friday, large numbers of people assemble here for the blessings of ‘Peer Baba’.

The Dargah of Ghuran Peer Baba is a mazaar named after a peer who is said to be blessed with divine and sacred powers. People offer chadar to the mazaar and offer prayers to the revered peer.

This mazaar holds a special place in the heart of all the residents of the city regardless of their religion. The place is usually crowded but there is no rush. Everyone maintains their decorum amicably.

Air : Deoghar Airport is 125 kms and Patna Airport is about 200 kilometers away. 

Train: Bhagalpur Junction railway station is situated at a distance of 2. 9 km and the driving time is 17 mins.

Best Time To Visit:

Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

It is suggested to visit the Dargah during the months of October to March. The best time to visit the Dargah is during the sunset as the calm weather adds to the piety of the place.
